Iran-China sign MoU on technology exchange

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA - President of Isfahan Science and Technolgy Town Mehdi Keshmiri signed a three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sun Hong, director general of China’s Science and Technology Exchange Center affiliated to China’s Ministry of Science and Technology. Under the program, signed Sunday, the centers are to exchange technology and introduce the knowledge-based companies’ achievements. The memorandum also includes technology exhibitions, joint seminars, projects and research programs, as well as transfer of know-how. Isfahan’s Science and Technology Park has 350 knowledge-based companies. Founded in 1982, CSTEC is an independent organization. With expertise in international science and technology exchanges, its mandate is to promote interactions between the research and industrial communities in China and their foreign counterparts. This will promote socioeconomic development and boost friendly relations between China and other countries. Over the past 24 years, CSTEC has evolved into a professional institution in the field of non-governmental science and technology interactions./end
