Iran shows nuclear, aerospace achievements in NAM summit

Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug. 28 / Trend D.Khatinoglu/ Iran has launched an exhibition beside the venue of the 16th summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), to demonstrate its first generation centrifuge alongside other nuclear, aerospace, nanotechnology and scientific achievements, Fars News Agency reported. According to the report, the guidebooks of Iran's latest scientific-technologic achievements is published in four languages and will be distribute among the representatives of NAM members. In the nuclear sphere, additional to a centrifuge, Radio Pharmaceutical, nuclear fuel bars and plates are shown. In aerospace Iran demonstrates the Omid satellite carrier, Tolou satellite and a alive animal carrying spacecraft at the exhibition. The 16th summit of the NAM member states kicked off in the Iranian capital Tehran, on Sunday. Iran says the foreign ministerial level part of the summit will be held on Wednesday. The heads level summit also will start on Thursday. According to Iranian official statements, 120 countries' representatives including 50 high level officials such as presidents, prime ministers and vice-presidents will participate at the NAM summit. NAM is an international organisation that brings together 118 countries in the world on the principles of non-participation of military blocs. NAM was officially established by 25 states at the Belgrade Conference in September 1961. The movement's establishment was preceded by the Bandung Conference in 1955. Do you have any feedback?
