Japan eager to cooperate with Turkey in domestic car production

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Science, Industry & Technology Minister Nihat Ergun in Ankara, and said Japan was ready to share technology and know-how with Turkey in its project to produce domestic cars. "Turkey and Japan share similar targets and we can turn them into efficient cooperation," Yamane said during the meeting. Yamane said Turkey and Japan could cooperate in patent and models, adding that he believed Turkey could achieve its targets. Also speaking in the meeting, Nihat Ergun said Turkey was cooperating with Japanese companies Toyota, Isuzu and Honda but it wanted to boost its current cooperation.
