Ricoh Malaysia Eyes 10 Per Cent Revenue Growth This Year

SUBANG JAYA (Selangor, Malaysia), June 16 (Bernama) -- RICOH Malaysia Sdn Bhd expects the latest Direct to Garment (DTG) printer to increase its total sales revenue by between nine and 10 per cent this year. Newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Alice Lee said the printer, to be launched this August, was expected to generate higher revenue for printing businesses as it was more flexible, cost-effective and provided high-quality digital print. "The DTG printer is designed to make professional, high-quality apparel printing easier, faster and more flexible on various medium. "The new printers are able to process from design to print very quickly, with software print speed as fast as 27 seconds per T-shirt," she told reporters after the breaking fast event here Thursday. Lee said Ricoh expected to sell 200 units of the printer, which targets the commercial production market, entrepreneurs and garment manufacturers. -- BERNAMA
