Topical issues of Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation discussed in Tashkent

Bishkek, July 28, 2023. / Kabar /. Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan Musa Jamanbaev and the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Jun discussed today topical issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations, the press service of the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission in Tashkent said.

The sides highly appreciated the results of the recent state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to the People's Republic of China and expressed confidence that the implementation of the agreements reached by the heads of the two states would give an additional impetus to the further strengthening of the Kyrgyz-Chinese comprehensive strategic partnership.

A separate discussion took place on the project for the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. An agreement was reached on close cooperation on the implementation of this important investment project.

The sides also noted with satisfaction the results of the first Summit of Heads of State in the "Central Asia - China" format, which served to strengthen good neighborly relations and comprehensive cooperation between the countries and peoples of the region.

Ambassador Jamanbaev warmly congratulated Ambassador Yu Jun on the start of his diplomatic mission and wished successful implementation of all plans.
