Air China Returns To KLIA After Three Year Lapse

PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia), Oct 26 (Bernama) -- China's flag carrier, Air China, returned to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport after a three-year hiatus. The inaugural Air China flight arrived at KLIA Sunday night, said airport operator Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) in a statement Monday. The new, four-times a week, service from Beijing Capital International Airport would operate using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft. "We are heartened by this return as it signifies the confidence Air China has in the strong growth opportunity that exist within the Malaysian market especially with regards to tourism," said MAHB Managing Director Badlisham Ghazali. -- BERNAMA
