AirAsia To Fly Kl-Goa Route From Aug 27

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (Bernama) -- AirAsia Bhd is to commence thrice weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur to Goa from Aug 27. This is the second route to India launched by the Malaysian budget airline this year after the Kuala Lumpur–Visakhapatnam sector in March. "Looking forward to our Kuala Lumpur-Goa first flight on Aug 27," Group Chief Executive Officer, Tony Fernandes tweeted. He also announced two free seats for the best tweet with the hastag, #airasiagoa. Goa is an Indian state located on the West Coast of India and stretching along the Arabian Sea. Colonial influence can be seen everywhere through its many well-preserved 16th century churches such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus and other world-heritage architecture. --BERNAMA
