The inaugural flight from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) to Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ram Das Jee International Airport, Punjab marks Malindo Air's seventh destination in India. Malindo Air is also the sole carrier to connect Southeast Asia to Amritsar. In conjunction with the debut of its latest route, the airline offers the flight ticket at a promotional fare of only US$178 (RM759) one-way all-inclusive for Economy Class and US$307 (RM1,309) one-way all-inclusive for Business Class. "Being the only carrier to connect Southeast Asia with Amritsar, we hope that through this new route, the tourism sector in both Malaysia and India will prosper with more tourist arrivals," Malindo Air Chief Executive Officer Chandran Rama Muthy said.
