Tourism service urged to promote Visit Laos Year 2012

VIENTIANE,14.02.2012 (KPL) - Vientiane Tourism Division hosted a meeting to encourage tourism related entrepreneurs to participate in the promotion of Visit Laos Year 2012 by ensuring proper provision of tourist products and service. At the meeting, representatives of hotels, guesthouses, tour companies were urged to participate in organizing the 5th tourism festival for five central provinces, the 9th ASEM Summit and Asean Tourism Forum 2013, as well as the management and development of tourist destinations of nature, culture and history to ensure tourism market growth in the country in years to comes and in the future as well as the integration into regional and global tourism markets. The meeting saw the presence of Director of the Vientiane Tourism Division, Mr. Khampadith Khemmanith, representatives of tourism related entrepreneurs and relevant sectors.
