Tourist arrivals in Azerbaijan on rise

Baku, October 7, AZERTAC During the first three quarters of the year the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan has reached 1,719,015, Culture and Tourism Ministry said. According to official figures, this is 169,30 people or 10 per cent more than in 2015. The number of tourist arrivals from Arab countries increased 34 times, the ministry said. The tourist flow from Iran grew 62.9 per cent, while from Kazakhstan and Russia 17.2 and 7.6 per cent respectively.
