SOONER OR LATER EU TO INVITE US
Delivering a speech on board the plane bringing him back to Turkey from Russia, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave important messages particularly on EU issue. "They will invite us sooner or later," he said.
Erdogan noted that Turkey's EU process was blocked by a couple of leaders and countries that were friends of Turkey were not influential within the union at all. "We are carrying on with our activities patiently. I do not know how much longer this situation will continue," the premier said.

INVITATION TO BE OBSERVER COUNTRY
Libya's Prime Minister Al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmoudi called Prime Minister Erdogan on the phone and said that his country would abide by the decisions taken by the UN. Al-Mahmoudi also called on Turkey to monitor the cease-fire in his country. Erdogan told the Libyan prime minister that violent acts against civilians should be stopped immediately. The Turkish capital acted cautious about such demand of Libya.

A CALL FROM GADHAFI
Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has declared an immediate cease-fire in a bid to fend off international military intervention after the United Nations authorized a no-fly zone. He insisted that Turkey should act as a observer.

SABAH
-----
F-16s ARE READY
Turkey will support the Libya operation which gets its legitimate grounds from the UN. Accordingly, Turkish jets will participate in the Volunteers Coalition. Turkey has decided to take part in the coalition which has been set up to stop the ongoing clashes in Libya as it did not want more bloodshed in this country. If NATO takes the relevant decision, Turkey will send its F-16s to Libya in order to put an end to Gadhafi's attacks against civilians.

WE CANNOT REMAIN SILENT AGAINST FIGHT BETWEEN BROTHERS
Commenting on clashes in Libya, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "It is impossible for us to sit down and watch brothers killing each other". Erdogan also noted that Turkey desired to see ties of brotherhood in its region, not acts of cruelty.
