Turkey sends planes for evacuation of Turks

 
ISTANBUL (A.A) - 30.01.2011 - Turkish Airlines (THY) prepared three planes to evacuate the Turks in Egypt where protests continue against President Hosni Mubarak.
THY officials said on Sunday that three planes were ready to take off at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport to evacuate the Turks in Egypt.
Planes will bring 750 Turks from Egypt back to Turkey.
Two of the planes will land in Alexandria, and one in Cairo.
Meanwhile, scheduled flights of THY from Turkey to Egypt are continuing without any problem.
More than 100 people have been killed in protests that erupted in Egypt over the past week against President Mubarak's rule.
