Turkey's 2011 budget revenues rise by 20.4 percent

ANKARA (A.A) - 15.02.2011 - The Central Government Budget's revenues rose by 20.4 percent in January 2011 compared to January 2010.
Finance Ministry released Tuesday results of the Central Government Budget for January 2011.
The budget ran a surplus of 1 billion Turkish liras (TL) in the mentioned month.
Budgetary expenses were 22,494,000 TL that included personnel expenditures, Social Security Institution (SGK) premium payments, goods and services, current transfers, capital expenses and capital transfers.
The budget's revenues which had totalled 19.5 billion TL in January 2010 rose to 23.4 billion TL in the first month of 2011.
Primary surplus grew 62 percent over January 2010 to reach 4,809 million TL in January 2011.
