ANKARA (A.A) - 24.02.2009 - Turkey's agriculture minister will go to Malaysia on Tuesday, his office said.
Turkish Agriculture & Rural Affairs Minister Mehmet Mehdi Eker will travel to Malaysia to participate in a meeting on "D-8 Cooperation on Food Guarantee."
Participants will discuss three agricultural projects including supply of fertilizers, fodder and establishment of a seed bank.
Malaysia had also hosted sixth D-8 summit in July 2008.
Eker is expected to return to Turkey on February 28.
D-8 is a grouping of developing Muslim countries comprising Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iran, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
