Turkish Cypriot premier: TRNC's image to change with water from Turkey
LEFKOSA (A.A) - September 24, 2011 - Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said that TRNC's image would change with the water that would come from Turkey via pipelines.
Kucuk said on Saturday that the water would reach the island on March 7, 2014.
He noted that Turkey already reserved the cost of the project, which was 450 million USD, and there would not be any delay in the project.
Kucuk said that TRNC would have 75 million cubic meters of water from Turkey annually, adding that 35-40 million cubic meters would be distributed to houses and the rest would be used in agriculture.
