Turkish economy minister meets with CEOs of South Korea
SEOUL (A.A) - August 12, 2011 - Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, who is visiting South Korea, had a meeting with CEOs of several South Korean companies on Friday.
Caglayan said that Turkey was an important bridge between Asia and Europe, stating that Turkey which was an important energy corridor and logistic center had several business opportunities.
Economic situation was not well in the West, he said. "No country was prepared for such a crisis," he said.
Turkey which offered several important investment advantages was a country which would attract nearly 120 billion U.S. dollars of energy investments within next 10 years, he said.
"Turkey has a dynamic market. I invite you to make more investments in Turkey," Caglayan said.
Caglayan said that Turkey was eager to grow in the auto sector and the Turkish auto sector had several opportunities in domestic and foreign markets.
Economy Minister Caglayan met with CEOs of Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, Korea Electric Power, Samsung CT, GS Engineering, Posco Engineering, SK Engineering and Hyundai Rotem.
