TURKISH EXPORTS-IRAQ: Half of all exports from Gaziantep go to Iraq in 2010

GAZIANTEP (A.A) - The southeastern province of Gaziantep and surrounding provinces sent almost half of all their exports to Iraq in 2010.
According to the Union of Exporters from South-east Anatolia (GAIB), Gaziantep and regional provinces made exports worth 5.1 billion USD in 2010. 46 percent of all exports from this region went to Iraq.
Iraq was the country that received most exports from the GAIB in 2010.
GAIB's exports to Iraq were twice as much as exports to 26 EU member countries in 2010.
