Turkish parliament speaker hosts luncheon for participants of parliamentary forum of UN conference

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 08.05.2011 - Turkey's parliament speaker hosted Sunday a banquet in honor of the participants of the parliamentary forum of the UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC-IV).
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, high-level officials from the UN, as well as parliament speakers and parliamentarians from numerous countries attended the luncheon hosted by Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin at Istanbul's Lutfi Kirdar Congress Center.
Earlier in the day, Sahin and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon delivered speeches at the opening of the parliamentary forum.
The 4th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC-IV) will take place in Istanbul between May 9-13.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will make the opening remarks of the conference.
