Bahrain King To Arrive In Pakistan On Tuesday

Islamabad, March 17, IRNA -- King of Bahrain, Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, is scheduled to visit Pakistan from March 18–20, at the invitation of Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, for bilateral talks, focusing on economic ties, it was announced on Monday. It would be the first official visit of the King of Bahrain to Pakistan in four decades. The King would be leading a high-level delegation including members of cabinet, government officials and major businessmen, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. During his stay, King Hamad would hold talks with president and the PM on bilateral, regional and international matters of mutual interest. Both sides will also discuss ways to increase export of Pakistani manpower to Bahrain and facilitate 100,000 strong Pakistani community residing in Bahrain, it added./end
