Envoy Calls For Finalization Of Iran-Turkey Preferential Trade Pact

Ankara, May 30, IRNA - Iran’s Ambassador to Ankara Bahman Hosseinpoor expressed hope that the preferential trade pact between Iran and Turkey would be finalized to make possible free trade between the two countries.
In his meeting with Turkey’s Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz on Tuesday, Hosseinpoor referred to upcoming visit of Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Hamid Safdel to Turkey and said he hoped that the preferential trade pact would be finalized in the two sides’ talks.
The Turkish minister and the Iranian ambassador also reviewed agreements reached in Yilmaz’s recent trip to Tehran in his talks with Vice President in International Affairs Ali Saeedloo .
Yilmaz thanked Iran for the hospitality shown in his trip and said the decisions made in his talks with Iranian officials to continue discussions on preferential trade pact are very important./end
