Intermach 2018 in Bangkok set May 16-19

BANGKOK, March 29 (TNA) - International business operators in advanced technological and innovative production sectors will gather in Bangkok in May for the Intermach 2018. Sanchai Numnam, an executive of UBM Asia (Thailand) Co Ltd., told journalists that his company, in cooperation with the Thai Ministry of Industry and other business alliances, will organize the Intermach 2018 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) during May 16-19. Sanchai said during the four-day event, "smart products" of 1,200 brands from advanced technological and innovative producers from 45 countries will be showcased. Besides, Thai business operators will meet with their foreign counterparts to form their networks for future trade and investment cooperation. Sanchai noted that Thai business operators, including those running small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), will also learn on applying more advanced technologies and innovations to their production processes to be in line with a policy of the Department of Industrial Promotion, under the Ministry of Industry, on promoting Thai SMEs to become "smart producers" based on the government's Thailand 4.0 Policy.
