Iran-Burundi Joint Economic Commission Meeting Opens In Tehran

Tehran, April 8, IRNA – The first Iran-Burundi joint economic commission meeting kicked off here Sunday. Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare for International Affairs Mohammad Taqi Hosseini and Burundi ˈs charge dˈaffaires in Tehran Omar Ntezimbere are attending the two-day event. Describing the meeting as a turning point in expanding mutual relations, Hosseini called for reinforcing all-out ties between the two nations. He reiterated that the current meeting plays a pivotal role in fostering bilateral cooperation. Ntezimbere, for his part, stressed the need for further expansion of bilateral ties, adding the two countries have started broad cooperation in technical field and vocational education./end
