Iran Exports Over $900m Worth Of Goods To Iraq

Qasr-e Shirin, Kermanshah province, Aug 25, IRNA - Iran has exported some 1.6 million tons of commodities, worth $903 million, via Khosravi and Parviz Khan border points to Iraq in the first five months of current Iranian year (started March 20, 2012), a provincial official announced Saturday.
Talking to IRNA, Qasr-e Shirin governor said cement, biscuits, air conditioner devices and shoes are among the main exported items.
Hossein Parvin stressed that over 90,000 tons of mazut have been also exported to Iraq via Parviz Khan border point during the period.
He described Parviz Khan border point as one of the main hub for exporting non-oil commodities to Iraq.
Qasr-e Shirin has 186 km border with Iraq./end
