Iran-Libya 4-year trade balance in Iran favor

Tehran, June 5, IRNA – The balance of Iran-Libya four-year (2009-12) $20.640 million trade was in Iranˈs favor— Value of Iranˈs exports to Libya was $20.600 in the period. According to the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, the worth of Iranˈs exports to Libya stood at $8.19 million in 2009. Iran had a share of about 40 percent in the exports to Libya in the year. Iran exported more than $4.73 million worth goods to Libya in 2012. The exports that year accounted for 23 percent of Iranˈs total exports to Libya in the four years. Meanwhile, $5.076 million and $2.689 million worth goods were exported to Libya by Iran in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Sanitary valves, grapes, pistachios, radiators and related parts, medicine, pistachio kernels and dried pistachio, non-alcoholic drinks, and non-velvet floor coverings were major exported items of Iran to Libya in the period under study.
