Iran-Turkey Trade Balance In Iran's Favor In Past 11 Months

Ankara, Jan 8, IRNA – Iran-Turkey trade balance in the first 11 months of 2013 was in Iran's favor as export of Iranian products and services to Turkey accounted for nine billion dollars of the $13.5 billion trade. Iran's share in imports from Turkey was 4.2 percent and exports to the country 2.8 percent in the period under study. In November alone, Turkeys exports to Iran amounted to $244.918 million. Overall, exports of Turkey in the 11 months of 2013 equaled 3.917 billion dollars. Meanwhile, Turkeys imports, mainly gas and oil and oil derivatives, from Iran was $768.96 million in November and $9.562 billion between January and November, 2013./end
