Dushanbe, Tajikistan, May 20, IRNA - Visiting Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance, Shamseddin Hosseini, heading a delegation, arrived here Monday. Hosseiniˈs visit is aimed at participating in the 38th Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). During his three-day stay, the Iranian minister is scheduled to hold talks with senior Tajik officials and ambassadors of Persian-speaking countries to that country on issues of mutual interests. Founded in 1973 by the finance ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (now called the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), the IDB officially began its activities in October 1975./end
