Parsian Produces Over 5m Gas Barrels

Tehran, Oct 8, IRNA - Parsian Gas Refinery Company has produced 5,031,000 barrels of gas condensates in the six months ending Sept. 22, the refinery’s managing director said. Farshid Ebdali added that the company produced 4,097,000 barrels of gas condensates during the same period of last year, according to Wednesday edition of Iran Daily. “The condensates are stored in four depots each with a capacity of 18,000 cubic meters and will be transferred to Assalouyeh through a 10-inch pipeline for export,” he said. “Gas condensates of Tabnak Gas Field are unique and have their own customers in the world.” During the same period, the company produced 13.5 bcm of gas and transferred them to the national network. Parsian can produce 82 mcm of gas and is the third Iranian refinery in terms of gas production. It will provide gas to the provinces of Fars, Yazd, Isfahan and parts of Tehran./end
