President Ahmadinejad Receives Kyrgyz Finance Minister

Tehran, July 11, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad received Kyrgyz Finance Minister Akylbek Japarov here on Tuesday afternoon. According to Presidential Office website, Ahmadinejad told his Kyrgyz visitor that the economic system and the capitalist management which are ruling international community are facing defeat. He expressed pleasure with recent developments and sovereignty of people on their own fate in Kyrgyzstan and said that Kyrgyz government and nation are clearly moving toward progress. President Ahmadinejad said Iran and Kyrgyzstan are historical friends of each other upon culture and civilization, adding that there is no limitation on the way of developing relations between Tehran and Bishkek. He undelined necessity of eliminating possible obstacles in the way of expansion of mutual cooperation and said that Iranian and Kyrgyz ministers and officials should consider ways to facilitate investment of both countries businessmen. Japarov, for his part, referring to signed agreements, said that exchange level between the two countries should reach one billion dollars in short term and added that Iran is a big country with effective role in the region and world which can be an appropriate model for other nations. He underlined necessity of using local exchanges in trade and economic relations between Tehran and Bishkek and said that current world economic crisis indicated that dictated economic policies by current ruling system on world economy has no efficiency and has reached a dead end. The Kyrgyz minister called for using Iran experiences in different fields of economy in his country, including economic reforms.
