Thailand to join CommunicAsia2014 and EnterpriseIT in Singapore

BANGKOK, May 8 (TNA) - Software Park Thailand under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) is gearing up its preparedness ahead of the CommunicAsia2014 and EnterpriseIT expos, set to be held in Singapore from June 17-20. Director of Software Park Thailand (Software Park) Chalermpol Toojinda told journalists on Thursday that Software Park, together with the Department of International Trade Promotion, under the Thai Ministry of Commerce, will lead Thai entrepreneurs from 14 groups of companies to showcase their information technology (IT), communications and broadcast innovative products at the CommunicAsia2014 and EnterpriseIT next month. The two agencies have agreed to create a Thai style pavilion at the venue to be used as their exhibition and trade discussions. Chalermpol said that Software Park expected the upcoming events would be a platform for further strengthening the Thai software industry on both the regional and world stages. According to the Software Park director, it is the third consecutive year that Thailand participates in the expos, which should earn the Thai Kingdom more than last year's 380 million baht. (TNA)
