Three Other Phases Of South Pars To Go On Stream: Oil Minister

Bushehr, April 3, IRNA – Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi said on Monday that Iranˈs gas production will increase remarkably once the 12th, 15th and 16th phases of become operational. According to the oil ministry, he added that exploiting oil and gas fields is of the priorities during the current Iranian year (started March 21). The ministry will also pay attention to the joint fields in the new year, in addition to developing South Pars gas field, Qasemi said. He noted that Persian Gulf Star Refinery which will contribute a lot to gas production will also be inaugurated in the new Iranian year. Qasemi called for active participation of the private sector in the upcoming 18th Oil, Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical Exhibit./end
