Iranian Movie Producer Becomes Member Of CIFEJ Board Of Managers

Tehran, May 11, IRNA - The Centre International du Film pours lˈEnfance et la Jeuneusse (CIFEJ) General Assembly has appointed Iranian film producer Ali Mo’allem as the member of CIFEJ board of managers in Beijing on Sunday. The CIFEJ Secretary General Mohsen Chiniforushan, CIFEJ Executive Director Elham Shirvani, filmmakers Rasul Sadr-Ameli and Puran Derakhshandeh, and film producers Ali Mo’allem and Fereshteh Taerpur also were present in the event. CIFEJ is an independent forum that allows people from all over the world to meet and discuss the quality of the contents of the media for children. Emerged from a conference held by UNESCO in Edinburg in 1955, CIFEJ is to promote excellence in the production of culturally diverse, entertaining, artistic, educational and informative audio-visual media designed for children and young people. In 2009, the CIFEJ headquarters was transferred to Iran’s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA). The 2014 CIFEJ General Assembly opened is Beijing on May 6.
