Azeri parliament speaker to visit Iran

Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA – Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan accompanied by a parliamentary delegation will travel to Iran on Tuesday. Ogtay Asadov is to visit Tehran to meet Iranian high-level officials at the invitation of Iranian Majlis (parliament) speaker Ali Larijani. He will take part in a joint press conference with Larijani and meet Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani, and Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif.
