Iran condoles with deadly mine blast in Turkey

Tehran, IRNA – Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani on Saturday condoled with the Turkish government and nation on a deadly mine explosion in the country. The Friday mine blast in Turkey left 40 miners dead and 11 others injured, official reports say, adding that some 15 miners are still trapped under the rubble. Sympathizing with the families of the victims, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman prayed for the victims to rest in peace and wished speedy recovery for those killed in the incident.
