Iraqi PM hails Rouhani's upcoming trip to Baghdad

Baghdad, Feb 27, IRNA – Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi said good agreements will be accomplished during the upcoming trip which is supposed to be made by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Iraq. Addressing the weekly press conference, Abdul-Mahdi referred to a recent trip which was made by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi to Iraq, saying the meeting was held within the framework of preparing the grounds for President Rouhani's trip. Issues related to water, borders, economic relations, railway and Shatt al-Arab will be discussed during Rouhani's tour, he added. He underlined reinforcing relations with regional, Arab and Islamic countries. The Iraqi prime minister also referred to recent developments in Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
