Minister of Hajj and Umrah Receives Head of Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization

Makkah, Dec. 08, 2019, SPA -- Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Benten received here today the head of Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization Ali Reza Rashidian and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, a number of issues related to the affairs of pilgrims of the Republic of Iran were discussed. Then, an official meeting was held to discuss arrangements and preparations for the service of the pilgrims of Iran during the Hajj season 1441 AH. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, and the Head of Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization signed an agreement for arrangements for Hajj affairs for the Hajj season 1441 AH, which organizes the arrival of pilgrims from Iran and services to be provided to them through service agencies participating in the pilgrims services system during their stay in Makkah to perform Hajj rituals. The Minister of Hajj and Umrah confirmed in a press statement the keenness and attention of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense to facilitate all matters for pilgrims and their arrival from all parts of the world. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to Iranian pilgrims for their cooperation during the Hajj season last year and their commitment to devote themselves to worship, serenity and peace, stressing that the Ministry completed special arrangements for Iranian pilgrims for the Hajj season this year 1441 AH, and that the Kingdom welcomes pilgrims from all sects, doctrines and nationalities in the land of the Two Holy Mosques. For his part, the Head of Iranian Hajj and Visit Organization expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah and his deputy for the reception and hospitality, expressing his wishes for the success of the Hajj season this year as it was in previous years. --SPA
