National Day of Czech Republic marked in Baku

Baku, September 21, AZERTAC The Embassy of the Czech Republic has organized an event marking its National Day. Ambassador of the Czech Republic Vitezslav Pivonka touched upon relations between the two countries, and highlighted the steadily developing bonds. On history of Day of Statehood, the diplomat also underlined his country`s achievements gained across the last years. First Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov conveyed congratulations of President Ilham Aliyev to the people of Czech Republic. On a very good partnership between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic Mr. Asgarov said reciprocal visits, meetings held played a particular role in boosting ties. The first Deputy Speaker highlighted developing inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries. The event brought together state and governmental officials, MPs, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan.
