Normal situation reported on first day of new school term in Thai Far South

THAI FAR SOUTH, November 2 (TNA) - The situation in the Thai Far South remained normal on Monday morning when local students and teachers were back to schools for the first day, thanks to intensified security measures provided by local security officers. Roadside check points have been set up, especially those in sensitive areas, to provide safety for teachers and students. The local security forces also mobilised patrolling squads to inspect each route to boost up confidence among people. (TNA)
