Over $88m Worth Of Goods Exported

Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA – An economic official said over dlrs 88 million worth of commodities were exported to 14 world countries through customs office of Aras Free Zone in the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 20, 2012). Sadeq Najafi said here on Saturday that the exported items included 95,000 tons of different kinds of goods. He said the commodities were exported to Georgia, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Iraq, Algeria, Syria and Venezuela among others. He said the figures showed a growth of 53 percent in terms of value and 58 percent in terms of weight compared to the same period last year. Aras Free Zone is located in northwestern country./end
