Pakistan President To Visit India On Sunday

New Delhi, April 7, IRNA – Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari, will visit to India on April 8 for low-profile trip. He, on his way to offer prayers at the revered shrine of Sufi Saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti (R.A.), will have lunch with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi and then head to the shrine, situated at Ajmer in India’s western state of Rajasthan. Though Zardari’s visit is intended to be purely for religious purposes, expectedly there can be some official discussions as a Pakistani President would be visiting India after a gap of seven years. Last Pakistani President, Pervez Musharraf visited India in 2005. Zardari will return to Pakistan the same day. India’s Prime Minister and Zardari last met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Russia in 2009./.end
