President Holds Gathering With All Regional Official

Sentul, West Java, Oct 15 (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a gathering with all regional leaders, including military and police leaders across the country on Wednesday. Held at Sentul International Convention Center in Sentul, Bogor, the gathering was attended by all governors, district heads, mayors, and the leaders of Provincial and Regional Legislative Assembly (DPRD, regional military and police, and numerous provincial and regional officials. Also present were the chiefs of high prosecutor offices across Indonesia. The gathering was themed National Gathering Towards Sustainable National Development. During the gathering, President Yudhoyono was accompanied by Vice President Boediono, United Indonesia-II Cabinet ministers, the National Police chief, TNI chief and other state officials. President Yudhoyono will end his term of office on October 20, 2014 when the president-elect Joko Widodo, better known as Jokowi, will be inaugurated and sworn in as the next president.
