Survey on children's opinions on National Children's Day
BANGKOK, January 11 (TNA) - Private-run Bangkok University has conducted a survey among 1,193 children, aged 6-14, in Bangkok from January 7-9, the results of which were disclosed on the National Children’s Day 2014, which falls on January 11.
Up to 27.8 per cent of the total young respondents said they would love to visit hills and mountains and 20.5 per cent wanted their parents to take them to beaches in upcountry.
When asked whether they would like to become a politician when they grow up, only 20.6 per cent of the surveyed youths wished to be, while the rest said “No”.
Most of the young respondents, or 45.3 per cent, wanted to see unity among the Thai people, while 19.3 per cent wished to see honesty and 13.7 per cent said grown up people should set good samples to children. (TNA)
