Tehran To Host Intˈl Cartoon Contest In May

Tehran, April 16, IRNA – The 10th Tehran International Cartoon Biennial will be held on May 5, 2013, it was announced here on Tuesday. Massoud Shojaei Tabatabaei, director of Iranˈs House of Cartoon, told IRNA that the contest was scheduled to be held in 2011 but was postponed due to coincidence of holding several international events in the country. He said 500 out of 3,000 works by artists from 89 world countries will be on display for 20 days./end
