Thai PM to visit Myanmar for Dawei Deep Sea Port project talks

BANGKOK, August 22 (TNA) - Thai Foreign Affairs Minister Surapong Tovijakchaikul said Wednesday that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was scheduled to travel to Myanmar from 13-15 September for talks with President Thein Sein on the Dawei Deep Sea Port project. Surapong told reporters in Bangkok that the permanent-secretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Seehasak Phuangketkaew and the secretary-general of the National Economic and Social Development Board Office Arkom Termpittapaisit were already in Myanmar to prepare for the meeting.
