Traditional performances for Royal Cremation

BANGKOK, Oct15 (TNA) - The Fine Arts Department will organise traditional performances at Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Public performance will be shown in front of the Royal Merit-Making Pavilion and three other stages on Oct 26 from 7.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. of the following day. Anek Arjmangkorn, director of Office of Performing Arts said the programs include Khon mask drama performances, Nang Yai shadow play, puppet shows and orchestras playing songs composed by His Majesty King Bhumibol. Various entertainments in the royal cremation ceremony are intended to pay a final tribute to the late King. (TNA)
