Turkey, Ghana aim to raise trade volume to 1 bln USD

ERZURUM (A.A) - Turkish health minister said on Thursday that Turkey and Ghana aimed to raise their trade volume to 1 billion USD in two years. Recep Akdag said trade volume between Turkey and Ghana was 338 million USD in September and climbed to 512 million USD at the end of 2011. "These figures indicate that 1 billion USD of trade volume is an achievable target," Akdag said during the closing session of the Third Term Meeting of the Turkey-Ghana Joint Trade and Economic Committee in the eastern province of Erzurum. Also speaking in the meeting, Ghana's Minister of Food & Agriculture Kwesi Ahwoi said if Turkish businessmen invested in Ghana, they would gain much.  Turkey, Ghana aim to raise trade volume to 1 bln USD
