Turkish Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission delegation visits AA's Regional Office in Balkans

SARAJEVO (A.A) - A Turkish Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission delegation visited Anadolu Agency's (AA) Regional Office in Balkans to be inaugurated on March 11 in Sarajevo. The commission's head Volkan Bozkir, deputies Muhammed Cetin, Ahmet Berat Conkar, Mehmet Ali Ediboglu and Oktay Ozturk visited the AA Representative Omer Cetres and received information on AA's activities in the region. Cetres told the Turkish delegation that "since the new Director General Kemal Ozturk assumed the office, the AA entered a phase of new developments. One of these developments has to do with the AA's new restructuring in the Balkans". AA's Regional Office in the Balkans would officially be inaugurated on March 11. The inauguration ceremony would be attended by Bosniak Member of the Bosnian Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag and AA Director General Kemal Ozturk. With the inauguration, the AA will begin publishing news in Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian languages, Cetres told the delegation. Volkan Bozkir, in his part, said that the AA's news in the three Balkan languages were highly important. Publishing news in three Balkan languages would strengthen not only the AA but Turkey and the region as well, Bozkir stressed.
