Eid al-Adha in Washington: Turkish embassy hosts reception

WASHINGTON (A.A) - November 8, 2011 - Turkish Embassy in Washington hosted a reception on the occasion of Eid al-Adha religious holiday on Monday. Turkish community in Washington showed great interest in the reception which was hosted by an embassy official Timur Soylemez as Ambassador Namik Tan is currently visiting Turkey. Tan sent a message to Turkish community in Washington, and celebrated their Eid al-Adha. Guests were offered meals from Turkish cuisine during the reception. Eid al-Adha religious holiday lasts for four days, and is celebrated by Turks and all Muslims in the world.
