13th Official Meet Of Experts Assembly Starts

Tehran, March 5, IRNA – The 13th official meeting of fourth round of the Assembly of Experts began here Tuesday morning chaired by Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani. Formerly, a member of the assemblyˈs presiding board said that a new chairman will be elected during the three-day meeting. Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami also said that the 13th meeting of the Assembly of Experts is to review crucial domestic economic and cultural issues. Members of the assembly will discuss the necessity of obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, maintaining national unity, the next presidential elections as well as increase in prices, he added. Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Ezzatollah Zarghami, is the only guest invited to the event./end
