Analyst Rejects Int'l Pressure On Iran’s Peaceful Nuclear Program

Islamabad, April 30, IRNA – A senior Pakistani analyst has rejected all kinds of international pressure on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program saying that the Islamic Republic has a right to develop nuclear technology.
Talking to IRNA, A. Z Hilali, Chairman of Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar said that Iran is fully cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) so there is no justification to doubt over Iran’s nuclear activities.
He said that western countries must accept Iran as a nuclear power and stop putting unjustified pressure on the Islamic Republic.
The educationist added that people of Pakistan feel proud of peaceful nuclear program of Iran. “Pakistanis support Iran’s right to nuclear technology,” said the analyst.
He said that Iran is carrying out its nuclear program under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). “Their nuclear program is legal,” said the scholar.
A. Z Hilali added that there is no justification to doubt over Iran’s nuclear activities.
The analyst said that history has proved that Iran is a brave nation and rooted out the government imposed by the imperialist forces on Iran.
Praising the personality of Imam Khomeini, he said that Father of the Islamic Revolution was a true guide and led the Iranian nation in difficult times. “Imam Khomeini brought a cultural and historical revolution,” said the educationist.
He added that Iran is a very historical country, land of intellectuals, scholars and throughout the history Iran has been a leading country literary, politically socially and culturally. A. Z Hilali added that Iran is progressing in all fields which is a great achievement.
The analyst went on to say that Iran and Pakistan have been enjoying strong and cordial relations for past many years, they share same values. “Their friendship is getting strong with each passing day,” said the intellectual.
