Cypriot leaders meet

LEFKOSA (A.A) - January 4, 2012 - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Dervis Eroglu and leader of the Greek Cypriot administration Demetris Christofias met at the buffer zone in Lefkosa on Wednesday as part of talks aiming to find a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus problem. The meeting is taking place at the residence of Lisa Buttenheim, UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Cyprus. The two Cypriot leaders' meetings recessed for a week due to new year's holidays.  Meanwhile, the two Cypriot leaders will attend the fifth trilateral meeting with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in New York between January 22 and 24.
